In addition to Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements, the Faculty of Science requires students to completes 33 units of coursework.
Students must register in the following courses. Students may not register in courses outside of their program.

Note: Students who acquire a paid internship are to register in QUAC 693/694; students who acquire an unpaid internship are to register in QUAC 695/696.
Students must seek approval from the Academic Coordinator to withdraw from, or drop, courses.
Advanced Credit
Advanced Credit will not normally be given for any of the Quantum Computing credentials.
Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)
The Graduate programs in Quantum Computing will permit the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade) for any course offered by the program.
The use of the CG grade may affect students' eligibility for internal awards.
Credit for Undergraduate Courses
Credit will not be granted for undergraduate courses.
Time Limits
The expected completion time for the Master of Quantum Computing is 12 months. Maximum completion time is six years from the start of the program.
Students enrolled in any of the Quantum Computing Graduate Credentials are not eligible for University of Calgary awards administered through the Graduate Awards Competition but may be eligible for program recommended awards.
